What adventures would you like to take on your vacation? They can be real or imaginary - its up to you!
Step 1: Research
Before you begin, look at a few examples of maps. You can look at actual maps of the place you are going, or research imaginary maps such as adventure and treasure maps!
Think about the topography and geography of your destination. Does it have mountains? Rivers? Hot lava fields? Monster caves? Big cities?

My example: I researched an actual map of Peru and saw that it has beaches, mountains, rivers, and rainforests. I noticed which countries it is next to. I want to visit Machu Picchu, so I found where it is located. During my research, I also saw that pink river dolphins live in the Amazon River, so I also want to see those!
Step 2: Draw!
Follow the video tutorial below for a lesson on Drawing and Adventure Map. All you will need is a pencil and paper. You can add color afterwards if you'd like!
Step 3: Sign off!
Sign and date your drawing. You can share your artwork with the hashtag #virtualvacationart. Remember to save all of your drawings (and notes) for our virtual exhibit at the end of the week!
