Step 1: Plan
Today we are drawing selfies! First, choose what kind of selfie you'd like - smiley, serious, silly? Next, think about what will be in the background of your selfie. Is there a place on your vacation that you especially enjoy?
My example: I chose Machu Picchu as the background of my selfie because that's why I wanted to travel to Peru. I decided to do a simple (and smiley!) selfie of me waving at the camera.
Step 2: Draw!
Follow the video tutorial below for a lesson on Drawing a Selfie. All you will need is a pencil and paper. You can add color afterwards if you'd like!
Step 3: Sign off!
Sign and date your drawing. You can share your artwork with the hashtag #virtualvacationart. Remember to save all of your drawings (and notes) for our virtual exhibit at the end of the week!
