Virtual Vacation: Lesson 3

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

Step 1: Research

Before you begin, think about what the landscape looks like on your virtual vacation. A natural landscape (mountains, rivers, volcanoes, etc) will work best for this activity, but you could add buildings later if you want!

My example: I learned that Peru has lots of mountains and rivers. I decided to draw a picture of a river with mountains in the background!

Step 2: Draw!

Follow the video tutorial below for a lesson on Drawing a Landscape. All you will need is a pencil and paper. You can add color afterwards if you'd like!

Step 3: Sign off!

Sign and date your drawing. You can share your artwork with the hashtag #virtualvacationart. Remember to save all of your drawings (and notes) for our virtual exhibit at the end of the week!
